Database Development - Assignment 1
John, a friend of mine, is worried since his stores do not currently have a database. He wants to keep track of the stock goods and the suppliers who supplied it. Additionally, he wants to keep track on his clients' purchasing patterns.
I'll assist him in building a database for them.
I have to put up a presentation that details the methods and tools utilised in the two various databases. The slideshow I made is shown below.
I completed this task. It was originally created in PowerPoint, but after uploading it to Google Docs, I made it available online. After that, I could add it to this area of my assignment using embed code.
The presentation can be scrolled through by pressing the forward arrow. It will detail numerous database features and operations. These range from basic features like data validation and table design to more complex ones like linkages between tables and form design.
Two extremely different databases are covered throughout the talk. One enables users to enrol new students in courses at an adventure activity college. The other is for a business that offers car rentals to the general public.
I spoke more about how databases promote productivity, usability, and correctness, all of which are crucial for databases where you can see yellow boxes.
The talk concludes with my assessment of the benefits and drawbacks of the two databases.
